Night Baton Relay : Sat17 - Sun18 July 2010

The Night Baton Relay is jole rider’s fantastic all night bike ride.
The venue is jole rider’s base at Hullavington Airfield in Wiltshire UK.
It is a Fun Fundraising bike ride, open to the seriously keen bike rider as well as casual family teams.
The ride supports jole rider’s bikes4Africa programme-getting children to school in Africa-by bike.  

THE RIDE:
Duration : 12hours [from 8pm to 8am]
Circuit : Approx 1 mile [extended for cycling club riders]
Total distance : As far as you can, taking it in turns to pass the baton
Teams : Max of 5 riders per team, riding one at a time
Location : Hullavington Airfield [Map]
Dates : Sat 17 Jul | Sun 18 Jul 2010
Route: Flat and on smooth tarmac with NO cars in sight

FUNDRAISING:
Minimum to raise: £100 per rider or £500 per team of 5
Target to raise: £200 per rider or £1000 per team of 5
For riders under 18yrs these figures are halved  

TEAMS:
Teams can compete against other teams in their class-
Company-v-Company | Dept-v-Dept | School-v-School | Club-v-Club | etc
- to cover the most miles and raising the most support for bikes4Africa

SOLO RIDERS:
If you would like to join the ride but don't have a team then join our TEAM360
This is our team of riders riding a tandem to cover 360 man - miles on the night

TARGET:
When we first ran this event in 2008 the teams raised over £11000
With more teams taking  part our aim is to double this total  
You will help us change more than 2000 lives as a result!
