You will sleep under canvas at a secluded tented site, in the African bush yet a few minutes’ walk from the warm Atlantic where there are more cows than humans on the sandy beaches!  Whilst you will never forget you are in Africa, everything you need for a comfortable stay will be to hand 

Whatever your itinerary, you will have plenty of opportunity to get hands-on with one of jole rider’s own education programmes at, or near, our base camp near the village of Gunjur  

If you stay for two weeks or longer you will have the option to travel into the interior of The Gambia, sleeping in a tent away from base camp, exploring the countryside, and meeting people ‘up country.’ You will have opportunities to visit, teach at, and be involved with schools
